Thanks, Alki. Yes, I enjoyed watching the young marimba player's video. But I especially liked learning about Cristina Mittermeier and her husband at www.sealegacy.com. I previously worked with a Nat Geo photographer named Joel Sartore, who's been photographing animals around the world for decades. More on him and his project here: https://www.joelsartore.com/photo-ark/ I worked with Joel to license a few of his photos for a music video we were producing back in 2022 for a song we wrote and recorded about saving the planet from climate change called: "Only Tomorrow Can Say." You can listen and watch here: www.ThreeMusicians.com. Sorry for the self-promotion, but I found a lot of resonance with Christina and her husband's work. And I had not heard of them before. So thanks for sharing that in your post too!

Hey there, Marco. Sooooooo delighted I could turn you on to something! You and Paula are the hippest person I know, (See what I did there?), so introducing you to Cristina Mittermeier gives me one small bump on the "cool" meter. (Though Shan might argue that.) I love Joel's work. His choice of photographing the reluctant passengers on the Ark in stark relief against blackgrounds, is sheer genius, treating them objectively rather than in their natural environments points up their plight all the more. And listen, I hope I let you know when it happened, your song getting the nod from Ringo is like... well... you need do nothing else. Your place in the pantheon is assured. In many ways, Ringo was the coolest in the group. None of the drama of the other three. Ringo was, and is, just Ringo. Nothing to prove, just the drummer, driving the whole shebang. I'd poop myself just meeting him, never mind winning the cookie.
